Jane Duffens, 72 of Topeka passed away February 17, 2023 after a short illness.
She was born February 8, 1951 in Wichita. She was the daughter of Jack Leroy and Elda Augusta (Kuhlman) Garhan.
Jane graduated from Topeka West and Washburn University. She formerly was a social worker.
Jane married Greg Duffens on August 26, 1972. He survives. Other survivors include her siblings: Bob Garhan (Cindy), Judy O'Brien (Kevin), Patty Puett (Terry), Mary Cooper (Mitch), Susie Herron (Steve) and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Debbie Wolff.
Jane enjoyed making holidays special for her family. She hosted fun cousin club meetings at a clubhouse made especially for her nieces and nephews on their land. She also loved gardening. She had a great love for dogs and had many over the years.
Honoring Jane's request, cremation is planned. There will be a private family gathering,
