Jane M. Scott, 64, of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 with her family by her side.
She was born on June 25, 1953 in Gloversville, NY, the daughter of John and Celestia Depietro.
Jane graduated from Herkimer High School in Herkimer, NY in 1971. She then attended Oswego County Boces in Mexico, NY and received her training as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She married Thomas L. Scott on November 4, 1978 in Atchison, KS. He survives.
Other survivors include her son Gary Bouck of Wamego; her daughter, Rochelle Thompson of Topeka; her step-son, Greg Scott of Perry, KS and Robert Scott of Topeka; her sister Rose Mary Brownrigg of Frankfort, NY, her brother, John Depietro of Wakefield, RI and her brother Joey Depietro of Virginia Beach, VA and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Ryan Thomas Scott and her parents.
Cremation is planned and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 17, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 S.W. Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66610.
