Jane Susan Ledford

Jane Susan Ledford, 54, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2005 at her residence. She was born on November 26, 1950 in Primghar, Iowa, the daughter of Dale Edward and Virginia Carman Brooks. She graduated from Topeka West High School in 1968. She was a homemaker. She married Charles F. Ledford on March 7, 1969 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Wayne Ledford of Omaha, two daughters, Shelli Wakeman of Omaha, Lexi B. Ledford of Springfield, Oregon, four granddaughters, one sister, Jeanne Sauer of Cary, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale E. Brooks and her mother, Virginia Springer and one grandson, Myles Ledford. Cremation took place. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Terry C.
