Janelle Owens, 52, of Topeka, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016.
She was born November 26, 1963, in Oakland, California, the daughter of Arthur Dana and Marthel Owens.
Janelle married Henry Cox on April 27, 1988 in Fallon, Nevada. They later divorced. Survivors include her significant other, Robert Lee Williams; five children, Victoria Inez Gill, Jonathan Wheeler, Chanel Russell, Romelo Cox and Max Cooper, all of Topeka; several grandchildren; and a sister, Veronica Burks, New Orleans, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Corey Fowlkes; and a granddaughter, Dia'Zejay Johnson.
Janelle enjoyed listening to music, cooking and had a good sense of humor.
