Janet Henderson Bulkley

Janet Henderson Bulkley, 99, of Topeka, Kansas passed away May 8, 2014. She was born at Sajita, Texas on March 21, 1915 to Robert D. and Matilda (Dickson) Henderson.
She graduated from high school at Auburn, Kansas. Janet married Thomas McConnell Bulkley on March 25, 1933 at Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a member of Auburn Presbyterian Church. They later moved to Anaheim, CA where she worked for the Anaheim School district for over 25 years.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Lois Jean Tomlinson; son, Thomas C. Bulkley (Mary); 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas M. Bulkley, as well as her daughter, Marjorie A. Bell, and siblings, Nancy, Jack, Dan, A.R. "Dick" and Robert.
A graveside service is planned on May 16, 2014 at 2:30PM at Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Auburn Presbyterian Church, 1101 Washington St. Auburn, KS 66402.
