Jeanette A. Hug

Jeanette A. "Jeannie" Hug, 57, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born July 17, 1957, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Francis and Wilma (Tabor) Bowers. Jeannie was raised in the Valencia/Topeka area and graduated from Rossville High School in 1975. She was employed by Falley's Grocery Store and the VA Hospital.

Jeannie married Lucio Arancibia in 1977. They later divorced. She Married James Hug on October 2, 2010 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2014.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Arancibia; grandchildren, Adrianna Arancibia, Justyne Lawrence, Anabella Lawrence and Christopher Lawrence; parents, Francis and Wilma Bowers; brothers, Steven Bowers and Robert Bowers; sister, Darla (David) Price and many nieces and nephews.

Jeannie enjoyed spending time fishing and reading.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm., Monday, May 4, 2015 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 S.W. 6th Avenue, Topeka. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Valencia Cemetery.
