Jeanne Ann Frost

Jeanne Ann Calderwood Frost, 63, of Topeka, passed away June 2, 2016. She was born December 27, 1952, in Topeka, the daughter of Oscar H. and Gertrude E. Craig Calderwood.

Jeanne was raised in Topeka, attended Sumner and Gage Elementary Schools, Landon Middle School, and was a 1970 graduate of Topeka West High School. She later attended cosmetology school and Washburn University. She worked as a hairstylist, then Jostens for eight years and later the State of Kansas for 25 years until her retirement in 2011. She enjoyed traveling, ceramics, genealogy, and movies.

Jeanne married Mark A. Frost on August 23, 1973 (divorced). She is survived by Son, Arron Frost, Portland, OR; Mother, Gertie Calderwood, Topeka; Sisters, Connie Thomas, Pueblo, CO and Jan Davis, Topeka, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Father, Ozzie Calderwood, and Mark A. Frost.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka, where the family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service is assisting the family.
