Jeannie R. Bradley, 73, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011. She was born March 29, 1938 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Alfred W. and Florence T. Thorsness Heiden.
Jeannie was a part of the Topeka community for over fifty years. She was an active member of Highland Park Baptist Church.
Jeannie married William L. Bradley. He preceded her in death in 1976. She was also preceded in death by her son, Deron K. Bradley in April, 2000.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. A graveside committal service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Alta Vista Cemetery, Alta Vista, KS. Jeannie will lie in state at the funeral home from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the KSU Cancer Center, 1 Chalmers Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506.
