Jeffrey A. North

Jeffrey A. North, 39, of Tecumseh, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 in an automobile accident south of Topeka. He was born May 11, 1964 in California, the son of Larry and Sharon Jones North, Sr. He came to Topeka in 1980. He was an administrator for Eventide Convalescent Center. He married Cindy A. Smith on November 19, 1983 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters; Heather M. North and Katelyn N. North of Tecumseh, his parents; Larry and Sharon North, Sr. of Joplin, Mo., his father and mother-in-law; Edward R. and Patricia F. Smith of Topeka, his brother; Duane North and sister; Brenda Ullrich. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel. Cremation will follow services. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Mr. North will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Friday.
