Jeffrey Lee Owens, 60, of Topeka, Kansas was born April 14, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas to Glenn and Peggy Owens. He passed away October 11, 2015. Jeff attended Highland Park schools and served as a corpsman in the US Navy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Owens. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Owens of the home; his sister, Margaret Caudle (Michael) of Tecumseh; brother, Glenn Owens (Shelley) of Topeka; nephews: Jason Owens and Jared Caudle; nieces: Megan Thomas, Lacie Henderson, Felicia Owens and Melissa Owens; and several great-nephews. He will also be missed by the many loved ones that Jeff considered as family.
He loved to fish. He was a kind and generous man who had a big heart. He loved and cared for many others that he considered family.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery with military honors.
