Jennifer Michelle "Jenny" Holder, 47, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 with her family by her side at a Topeka hospital. She was born June 19, 1974 in Salina, the daughter of Steve and June (Blanka) Holder.
Growing up, Jenny loved spending summers with her grandparents in Wamego and playing basketball and softball. She graduated from Flint Hills Job Corps in 1993. She worked in retail, data entry and bookkeeping, an eyeglass factory, and housekeeping. Jenny can be remembered by her sweet love for animals (particularly cats), her family, and was especially proud of her nieces and nephews.
Jenny is survived by her parents, Steve (Melissa) Holder and June (Don) Brase, her sisters, Stephanie (Michael) Powell and Tracy Holder; brothers, Lance (Brooke) Holder and Steven K. Holder, four nieces, Lindsay Hupp, Skyler Carlson, Bella Holder, Violet Holder and six nephews, Joshua Hupp, Alex Powell, Kaden Carlson, Steven T. Holder, Brody Holder and Eli Holder.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Jennifer's Life and private inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with arrangements.
