Jermel Ramond Robbins was born September 30, 1987 to Delbert L Robbins and Glennette M Johnson in Topeka, Kansas. He departed this life on June 13, 2014 at the age of 26.
Jermel attended Topeka public schools. He played football and basketball for Highland Park High School. Jermel accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He married Trinett Leek Marshall on May 25, 2011.
As Jermel grew older he became a loving and devoted family man, who enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and step children. He also was very close to his mother Glennette and his brother Dontae and sister Amber. He shared a special relationship with his uncle Damion who many thought were brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife Trenett Robbins; Two Sons: Jermel Robbins, Jr., Romello Green Robbins; Three Daughters: Alaysha Prince Robbins, Ti'Nya Williams Robbins, Khloe Adams Robbins all of Topeka. Mother: Glennette M Johnson; Father: Delbert Robbins; Step-Mother: April Robbins, Brothers: Dontae (Ashley) Redmon, Trent Robbins, Antwaun Robbins; Sisters: Amber (Tony) Johnson, Jazmin Robbins, Rachelle Robbins, Harper Robbins all of Topeka; Grandparents: Delbert Robbins (Topeka) & Gloria Henderson (Shreveport, La), Glenn & Ann McClelland of Topeka; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will take place at a later date. Jermel will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
