Jerry Lester Kincaid 82, Berryton, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
Jerry was born March 31, 1940, in Topeka, Kansas to Lester and Effie Kincaid. He was the youngest of four children. Jerry graduated from Highland Park High School in 1958.
Jerry made a career of working on heavy duty diesel trucks and was a refrigeration specialist, he retired from Fleming Foods Company in Kansas City in 2003.
Jerry married Shirley Linder (Kincaid) on December 9, 1959., and they shared 62 wonderful years. She survives, along with their four daughters, Belinda Underhill (Craig) of Perry, Ronda Murrill, Topeka, Lori Livingston, Berryton and Cathy VanOrden, Washougal, WA, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His kind soul will be remembered by many.
Jerry and Shirley shared a love of family pets. They shared many 4-H activities with their daughters. In his spare time, Jerry was always busy working in the garage doing something!
A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm on Wednesday, May 11 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Avenue in Topeka. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
