Jerry Alan Lee, 61, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

He was born November 22, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Robert A. and Alta Faye (Cawood) Lee. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Washburn University.

Jerry was employed by Blue Cross - Blue Shield for fifteen years, retiring in 2014.

Mr. Lee was a member of the Masons in Topeka.

Survivors include his daughters, Erica McCartney (Mike) of Topeka and Alaina Lee of Manhattan; his mother Alta Faye Lee of Topeka; brother Robert E. Lee (Diana) of Lawrence; grandchildren Jordan, Abigail and Michael of Topeka; and great-grandchildren Addyson, Cainyn and Sadie of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his father Robert A. Lee and his son Jerry "Alan" Lee II.

Jerry enjoyed golfing, playing softball, playing poker and barbecuing with his competition barbecue team. He coached soccer for many years and liked watching sports. Jer-Bear enjoyed gathering with friends at Happy Bassett Brewery.

A Funeral Ceremony will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 20th at First United Methodist Church in Topeka. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 19th at First United Methodist Church in Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Kansas Chapter, 3450 North Rock Road, Suite 204, Wichita, Kansas, 67226.
