Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Rochester Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road.
Jerry graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School. He worked at Topeka Landscape since 2005.
Jerry loved working with his hands and creating things of beauty. He attended Good News Church in Topeka.
Parents: Jerry W. Johnston, Sr. and Debra L. (Doud) Johnston, Scranton.
Sisters: Angela D. Johnston, Wichita and Megan K. Johnston, Denver, CO.
Grandmother: Carol S. Doud, Topeka.
Numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
