Jerry Wiech, 74, passed away July 22, 2017. He was born March 29, 1943 at Lake City, Minnesota to George and Delores Wiech. He was a middle child of 5. He graduated from high school at Lake City and earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from Penn State. He served his country in the US Army serving two tours in Vietnam. He married Janice Parks in 1991.
He is survived by his loving wife Janice; his children from his first marriage: Sheri Denzer (Jeff) of Bay City, Wisconsin and Angela Fletcher (David) of Kansas City, Kansas and Patrick Wiech (Jessica) of Topeka, Kansas; his children from his marriage to Janice: Nicky, Artis, Jenny, Joy, Alex, Jessie, Lenny and Mark; 27 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his sisters: Jackie and Janice; and his brothers: Jim and John.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter.
He loved woodworking and rebuilding antique furniture. He was a foster parent for rescue animals.
The graveside service will be held at 1:45PM September 15, 2017 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota with military honors.
