Jessica Ann Savely, 26, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.
She was born May 17, 1985 in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of James A. and Carol L. McGinnis Savely. Jessica attended Shawnee Heights High School, was a graduate from Kaw Area Votech and attended Washburn University. She was employed by Durham School Services as a bus driver and by Plaza West Nursing Home as a Dietary Aide. She enjoyed listening to Joel Osteen. Jessica recently received her first coin through NA.
Survivors include her son, Michael James Savely, of Omaha, NE, her daughter, Teegan N. Thompson of Topeka, her father, James A. Savely of Topeka, her mother, Carol L. (Randy) Lewis of Topeka, her brother, Richard Savely of Topeka, and her paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Jack Savely of Topeka.
Jessica will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Cremation will follow and private inurnment will take place in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army Citadel, 1320 SE 6th Ave. St. A, Topeka, KS 66607.
