Jewell Bronson, 90, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at McCrite Plaza. She was born on November 7, 1922 in Paris, Texas to Robert and Kansas Wells. She was a member of The New Beginning Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Orene (Thomas) Lawrence, M.C. (Marilyn) Thomas, Jr., Lenora Lewis, Willa Hayes all of Topeka and James Thomas, Wichita and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 10 am, Monday, June 24 at Capitol City Community Church of God, 1191 SE 37th, Topeka. Burial will take place at Topeka Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5-6 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
