CMSGT (Ret) Jimmy G. Phillips, 77, Topeka, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020.
Jimmy was born November 29, 1942 in Shidler, OK, the son of Chester and Alice (Davis) Phillips. He graduated from Caney High School in Caney, KS.
He served in the U. S. Air Force for 30 years, retiring in 1990. He later worked for the Springfield, MO. School System. He returned to Omaha and worked for the SAC Federal Credit Union.
Jimmy married Sandra Allison on November 8, 1963. His wife of 57 years survives. Other survivors include sons, Scott Phillips, Corey (Lisa) Phillips, Chad Phillips, all of Omaha, NE; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and siblings, John Phillips and Bill Phillips.
Cremation has taken place and no public services are planned.
