Jo Ellen Dyer, 91, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
She was born July 10, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Bernice Morford.
Jo Ellen was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone in Topeka over 25 years before retiring.
Jo Ellen married Phillip "Dan" Dyer on March 11, 1956. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2020. Survivors include two daughters, Dana Dyer and Kelly (John) Alexander; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mae Bendickson.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Jean Printy.
Jo Ellen enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and people. She also enjoyed traveling with Dan and were "Arizona Snowbirds".
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. No services are scheduled. Private entombment beside her husband will be at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Manhattan, Kansas.
