Joan Ehrhart Mallory
Joan E. "Jo" Ehrhart Mallory, 72, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2007 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on March 6, 1935 in Topeka, the daughter of John A. and Blanche V. Ehrhart. She was one of the first persons to attend school at the Capper Foundation. She graduated from Hoyt High School, and lived in the Hoyt area before moving to Topeka.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy L. Mallory; her best friend, John Vitello; nephews, Dan Beavers, Ron Beavers, Mike Beavers, Bob Ehrhart, Ben Ehrhart, and nieces, Kenda Douglas, Lisa Thurman, and Terri Koch and families.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Corene Sollars, and a brother, Jack W. Ehrhart.
Cremation has taken place. An inurnment service will be held at 3:30 pm Tuesday at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hoyt.
Memorial contributions may be made to Capper Foundation/Easter Seals, 3500 SW 10th Ave, Topeka 66604.
