Joan Louise (Dowdin) Stodden Stich, 67, Topeka, Kansas, passed away, January 17, 2006 in Topeka.
She was last employed by USD 501 as a Bus Para-Professional.
Joan was born October 13, 1938 in Yuba City, CA, the daughter of Robert Ellis and Eva Belle (Collins) Dowdin, both preceding her in death.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Lewis Dowdin, Atlanta, GA; a sister, Dolores (Dowdin) Roberts, Santa Barbara, CA; a daughter, Trudy (Stodden) Russell Pasley, a son, Steve Stodden, four grandsons, Troy and Travis Russell, Brandon Stodden, Eric Pasley, two great-granddaughters, Adreana and Lexy Russell, a step-son, Matthew Stich, and was Legal Guardian of John Stich and Paula (Stich) Hartness, all of Topeka.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 8th and Buchanan. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
