Joann Flickinger
April 4, 1940 — November 15, 2015
JoAnn Flickinger, 75, of Auburn,Kansas, passed away November 15, 2015. She was born April 4, 1940 at Topeka, Kansas to Dale E. and Avis V. Briggs Flickinger. She was a graduate of Washburn Rural High School. She was employed as a LMHT at the Topeka State Hospital for 35 years.
She is survived by her lifelong partner, Karen Deal of the home; her siblings, LeRoy (Nancy) Flickinger and Eadie Flickinger, both of Topeka; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed raising cattle, German Shepherds and exotic animals, showing Rhode Island Red chickens, fishing, coin collecting, watching westerns and women's sports.
Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
Inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
