JoAnn Wright, 70, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. She was born September 2, 1948 in Portsmouth, Virginia.
JoAnn graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth and attended Virginia Bible College in Norfolk, Virginia. She had resided in Topeka since 1971.
JoAnn married Terry Wright on August 7, 1971 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter; Melissa (Chase) Credeur of Topeka, two grandchildren; Matthew Credeur and Gabrielle Wright and her brother; Marshall (Carolyn) Miller, Jr. of Chesapeake, Virginia.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
