Joanne Marie Sieber Robbins, 73, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at a Topeka hospital.
She was born February 27, 1942 in Sheboygan, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ronald Charles Sieber born 20 September 1916 in Greenbush, Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Maude Elizabeth Maney born 18 November 1916 in Rolling, Langlade, Wisconsin.
Wife of Jerry Ray Robbins, Sr. married 10 November 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mother of 5 children, Jerry Ray Robbins, Jr., Joel Roy Robbins, Jennifer Renee Robbins Brink Grisham, James Ronald Robbins and Julia Rebecca Robbins. She has 12 grandchildren.
She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent in Topeka. Her greatest joy in life was helping other people. She served as a volunteer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program for many years.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She worked as a volunteer with the Topeka Kansas Stake Family History Center. She served a mission as a temple worker in the Winter Quarters Temple in Omaha and a second mission in the Kansas City Missouri Temple.
Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3611 SW Jewell where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
