John C. Bally

John C. Bally, 90, passed away December 26, 2016.
He was born January 11, 1926 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of Charles and Dora Bally.
He attended Benton High School, Marysville State College, and Finley Engineering School. He enlisted in the US Navy, serving aboard the USS Cecil in the South Pacific during World War II.
After the war he worked at Capital Iron Works for 42 years and retired as Vice President of the company. He is survived by his wife, Nona, and 2 daughters, Sue Baxter of Overland Park, KS and Kathy Hollis (Whitt) of Santa Barbara, CA. He has three grandchildren, Stephanie Baxter of Seattle, WA, Meghan Hollis of Eugene, OR, and Trey Hollis of Brooklyn, NY.
Special thanks to Father Steve and Robyn Lipscomb for the love and care they have shown throughout his illness. Special thanks also to the staff at Grace Hospice and Lexington Park Assisted Living.
Private inurnment will be in The Chapel of the Resurrection at Grace Cathedral.
