John D. Fields

John D. Fields, 54, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 6, 1967 in Wichita, the son of Lester and Debrah (Peterson) Fields.
John graduated from Highland Park High School in 1986. He served his country in the Army and the Kansas Army National Guard as a career.
Survivors include three daughters, Autumn Perry, Kazzmin Stewart and Aspen Sims, nine grandchildren, Brayden Rogers, Daisi Fields, London Perry, Coda Sims, Dove Sims, Kaizen McClain, Dyani Stewart, Kaveya Stewart and DJ Stewart. Also surviving are his siblings, Amy Fields, Cody Fields, Sari Fields and his parents, Lester Fields and Debrah Daffron.
John was preceded in death by his son, Dante M. Fields on August 5, 2016.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Burial will follow in Topeka Cemetery. John will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the funeral home.
