John W. Flickinger "Flick", 96, Auburn, passed away, Thur. Aug. 7, 2008, at Midland Hospice House.
Flick was born on Oct. 1, 1911, in Reading, PA, the son of Harry and Sadie Flickinger.
He served in the Army Air Corp. during WWII and US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Flick is survived by his wife, Leah of 47 years; daughters, Charlotte (John) Berdahl of Fairbanks, AK and Cynthia (David) Butler of Orlando, FL; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, PO Box 22, Auburn, KS 66402.
