John Grubb, Jr.

John "Ol' Man" Grubb, Jr., 63, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. He was born July 15, 1959 in Topeka, the son of John E. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Nason) Grubb, Sr.
John attended Santa Fe Trail High School then joined the US Army. He was employed as a roofer. John enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
John married Nancy Brown. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his father, John E. Grubb, Sr. on November 29, 2019.
Survivors include Buster (his service dog) of the home, his children, Andrew (Chelsie) Grubb of Wamego, Jessica (Larry) Fairchild of Topeka, John Grubb III of Burlingame, Matthew (Stephanie) Grubb of Ozawkie, Kenneth (Stacey) Scarbrough of Topeka and Martin Grubb of Osage City, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Grubb of Iowa, and his siblings, Cynthia (Scott) Edwards of Topeka, Karyn (Ray) Salazar of Texas and Susan Grubb of Iowa.
A Celebration of John's Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at The Woodshed, 1901 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka 66608 from 12:00pm -5pm. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
