John B. Hamm, 61, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018. He was born November 8, 1956 in Topeka, the son of Grathuew W. and Barbara J. (Lewis) Hamm.
John graduated from Topeka High School in 1974. He was employed by the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.
Survivors include four children, Holly Hamm of Texas, Barry Hamm, Bryan Hamm and Michelle Hamm all of Topeka, two grandchildren, Samira Matchie and Chase Arcuri and one sister, Joan Hamm of Topeka.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
