John J. Munoz, 72, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born September 30, 1945 in Topeka, the son of Frank and Henrietta (Hernandez) Munoz.
John was employed by Hill's Pet Products for over 30 years before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
John married Beverly Cushing on May 10, 1994 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Jude (Rick) Michel, Cyndi (Brandon Archambeau) Cushing, Scott (Denise) Cushing, Clint Cushing, three grandchildren, Kortney, Dylan (Jennifer), Deana (Danny) and his siblings, Frank Munoz, Jr., Susie (Richard) Torres and Phil (Linda) Munoz.
John was preceded in death by his siblings, Cecilia, Rita and Joseph.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 201 NE Chandler St., Topeka, Kansas 66616.
