John Paul Adamson

John P. Adamson, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. He was born on March 27, 1934 in Racine, WI, the son of Robert and Sybil Adamson. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He had resided in Topeka for the past 20 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. John married Wilma K. Adamson on August 25, 1989 in Pittsburg, KS. She survives. Other survivors include one son, John Adamson, Jr. of Racine, WI, one daughter, Debra Vash of Kenosha, WI, one step-son, Mark currently in Iraq, three step-daughters, Kathie of Alabama, Veronica of Missouri and Shelly of Pittsburg, KS and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
