John Raleigh "Jack" Heath, 62, Raytown, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 24, 2007 while visiting family in Brooklyn, New York.
Jack was born August 23, 1945 in Berwyn, Ill, the son of Winfield S. and Florence (Favorite) Heath. He was raised in Western Springs, Illinois and Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1963 and Kansas State University in 1968.
Jack was a Systems Analyst for Honeywell. He enjoyed photography, bowling, golf, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Jack married Linda G. Carter on September 4, 1971 in Kansas City. She survives. Other survivors include sons, John Owen Heath and wife, Emily, Brooklyn, NY, Andrew Heath and wife, Kathrine, Lee's Summit, MO; grandchildren, Zoe T., Simon, Nate; brothers, Tom Heath, Topeka, David Heath, Austin, TX; and sisters, Sue Pettyjohn, Boulder, CO, and Nancy Miller, Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held atPenwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery. A Memorial service will be held in Kansas City at a later date.
