John Thomas O'Brien, Iii

John Thomas "J.T." O'Brien, III, 42, of Topeka, died on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.

J.T. was born on March 14, 1971 in Topeka to John and Patricia O'Brien. He graduated from Topeka High School and Washburn University with a B.A.

J.T. is survived by his wife Sara O'Brien, daughter, Mackenzie O'Brien, step-children, Jadyn and Jordan, parents, John and Pat Reinartz, all of Topeka; stepbrother, Phil Reinartz; and stepsister, Elizabeth Allen.

He was preceded in death by his father, John O'Brien.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00a.m. with a funeral ceremony at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka. J.T. will lie in state from 3:00-6:00p.m., Friday, September 6, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Brookhaven, MS.
