Johnnie D. Osier

Johnnie D. "John" Osier, 74, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. He was born December 14, 1948 in Anthony, Kansas, the son of Roy and Anna J. (Knight) Osier.

John graduated from Topeka High School. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a Project Manager by Payless Shoe Stores for 29 years before retiring.

John married Cathy C. Nieman on July 23, 1971 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children, Tim (Stephanie) Osier of Arizona, Mark (Heather) Osier of Topeka, Christy (Art) Oczko of Topeka, ten grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, Cooper, Benjamin, Mia, Zoe, Brandon, Macie, Owen and Camri, his two sisters, Connie Osier of Phoenix, Arizona and Barbara Spinner of Olathe, Kansas and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his Fluff Fluff's, Carl and Emma.

John is preceded in death by his brother, Bernard Osier.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2023 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. The family requests casual dress which could also include supporting your favorite sports team.
