Johnny Huske

Johnny D. Huske, 62, of Topeka, passed away at his home on March 17, 2010. He was born on Feb. 27, 1948 in Fostoria, KS to Roy F. and Lucille (Griffin) Huske.
Johnny was raised and attended schools in Burlingame and Ottawa, KS. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, made his career as a television repairman, and his hobbies included electronics and music. He married Sharon Hunt in Ottawa, KS. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, John Huske (Maria) and Jaime Huske (Angela); grandson Steven Huske; granddaughters, Kaylee and Lexie Huske; sisters, Sue Petry and Janet Woolard; brothers, Roy and Irvin Huske; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Lucille and a brother, Jeffery Huske.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20, at Dove Cremation and Funeral Services. A visitation will be held at Dove from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday. Inurnment is planned in Ottawa at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Rd, Topeka, KS 66617.
