Joleen Julie Ottlinger, 68, Topeka, passed away Fri. Aug. 8, 2008.
She was born Nov. 20, 1939, in Saxman, KS, the daughter of Jay and Sylvia (Engelland) Brothers. She graduated from Hutchinson Community College, and lived in Hutchinson for 48 years before moving to Topeka.
Joleen worked as a sales representative for the Hutchinson News for 27 years. She was a member of Park Place Christian Church, Hutchinson.
She married Kenneth M. Ottlinger on Sept. 3, 1960, in Hutchinson.
He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Kevin Ottlinger and his wife, Starr* of Topeka and Keith Ottlinger of Wichita, and a brother, Lyle Brothers of Lyons.
Cremation is planned. Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is handling arrangements.
Graveside inurnment services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 14 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery 5905 W 4th, Hutchinson, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 5350 SW 17th, P.O. Box 4029, Topeka, KS 66604.
