Joseph E. Bame

Joseph E. Bame, Jr., 55, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at his home. He was born on May 25, 1951 in Topeka, the son of Joseph E. and Betty Grey Bame, Sr. He was a life long Topeka resident. He owned and operated B&B Motorcycle Repair Shop. Joseph married Ruth E. Steinblock on June 15, 1979 in Dawson, NE. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Joseph E. Bame, III, Jess R. Bame and one daughter, Jennifer M. Bame, all of Topeka, one granddaughter, Hailey R. Vance, his father, Joseph E. Bame, Sr. of Topeka, one sister, Debbie Isley of Topeka and one brother, Steve Bame of California. He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry R. Bame. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
