Joshua Michael Blanchett

Joshua Michael Blanchett, 26, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2005 at his residence. He was born on May 26, 1978 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Gwen S. Bower and Robert G. Blanchett. He attended Topeka public schools. He was employed by DHL. Survivors besides his parents include two sons, Samuel Quinton and William Vance Blanchett of Topeka, two brothers, Robert G. Blanchett, II and Jerimie M. Blanchett both of Topeka, his half-brother, Chris Blanchett of Yukon, Oklahoma, two half-sisters, Summer Blanchett of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Alyssia McPherson of Topeka. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Highland Park United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery. Joshua will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
