Joyce M. "Jo" Kasson, 80, Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at a local hospital.
Jo was born May 1, 1938 in Topeka, the daughter of Howard J. and Nellie H. (Kelch) Vorhies. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1956.
She was previously employed by Stormont-Vail Hospital and Security Benefit.
Jo married Wayne Kasson on February 23, 1956. He survives. Other survivors include daughters, Kim (Rod) Lister, Susan Kasson, Jayna Kasson, Lori (Tony) Fearon; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Jo's desire was to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
