Joyce Marie Roberts, 64, Topeka, died Friday, September 2, 2005 at Midland Hospice Care.
Mrs. Roberts had a home daycare for thirty five years before retiring in 1996.
She was born April 19, 1941 in Mankato, MN, the daughter of Waldo Smith and Lottie Kopp Smith Clerico.
Mrs. Roberts was a member of Community Church, a prayer warrior and soul winner, and taught Sunday School for many years.
She married Harold "Robby" Roberts on January 4, 1958. He survives. Other survivors include two children, Richard Roberts and Marie D. Crafts and her husband, Derek; three brothers, Mickey Smith, Alan Smith, both of Topeka and Gary Smith, Cherokee; three sisters, Loretta Smith and Marlene Burr, both of Topeka and Marilyn Krawczyk, Tampa, FL; and two grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 9, 2005 at the Community Church, 1819 SW 21st, Topeka. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.
