Joyce Ailene Smith, 88, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at a local care center.
Joyce was born April 27, 1933 in Bigelow, KS, the daughter of John and Faye (Shearer) Rinehart. She graduated from Frankfort High School.
She was employed as a clerk at Jostens for over 50 years.
She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
Joyce married Dale Smith on July 29, 1956. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2020. Survivors include sons, Greg (Teresa) Smith, Berryton, Brian (Vickie) Smith, Topeka; granddaughters, Kirsten, Seanna and Brianne; great-grandson, Aiden; and twin sister, Julia Brower, Frankfort. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Valley Falls Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota, Topeka.
