Joyce A. Witmer

Joyce A. Witmer, 87, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at a Topeka hospital. She was born December 3, 1935 in Barnes, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Pearl Mae (Livergood) Preston.
Joyce attended Waterville High School. She was a homemaker. Joyce owned and operated Magic Wand Ceramics and Ladybug Dolls & Miniatures. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing and her crafts. She was a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church.
Joyce married Thane Witmer on July 26, 1968 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2018.
Survivors include children, Debra Stadel of Wickenburg, Arizona, Brad and Mary Sedlacek of Tecumseh, Todd and Melody Weller of Tecumseh and Trigg and Trisha Witmer of Shakopee, Minnesota; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Joyce's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
