Juanita C. Coffman, 88, Overbrook, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017.

Juanita was born February 15, 1929 in the Valley Brook community south of Overbrook, the daughter of Charlie and Goldie (Haslett) Branson. She graduated from Overbrook High School.

She was employed as a Teller with First Security Bank in Overbrook for over 20 years, retiring in 1994.

She was a member of Overbrook United Methodist Church and volunteered at the Overbook library.

Juanita married Albert "Bud" Coffman on October 27, 1947 in Wamego. He died January 28, 1981. Survivors include daughter, Cheryl Coffman, Topeka; son, Ed (Janet) Coffman, Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughter, Stacy Watkins; and 3 great-granddaughters. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Iva Walquist and Frances Patch; and brother, Delbert Branson.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Overbrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 in the community room at the Brookside Retirement Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Overbook Public Library, 317 Maple St, Overbrook, KS 66524.
