Juanita F. Wagstaff, 88, Topeka, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008 at Lexington Park Nursing Center.
She was born August 16, 1919 at Tecumseh, KS, the daughter of Arthur and Ella Burgess.
Mrs. Wagstaff was employed at Cable Spinning Equipment Co. from 1942 to 1985.
She married Paul D. Wagstaff on April 11, 1945. He died Feb. 8, 1975. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Merle D. Burgess, Victor Burgess, and Arthur Burgess, and a sister, Marcella Shelton.
Survivors include two sisters, Violet Panchot of Arlington, TX and Ella Jacket of Hawkinsville, GA; a loving sister-in-law, Lois Burgess; a step-son, George D. Wagstaff and wife, Fern of Tecumseh; a step-daughter, Kathryn Pooley of Las Vegas, NV; three step-grandchildren, Stan D. Wagstaff, Linda Patton, and Jeff Pooley.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
