Juanita Ione Jordan, 83, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008.
Juanita was born August 30, 1924 in Esbon in Jewell County, the daughter of Mathias and Edith (Wilson) Morrow.
She was a graduate of Concordia High School.
She was a member of Crestview United Methodist Church, and an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
Juanita married Louis Jordan on August 24, 1946 in Concordia. Lou preceded her in death on June 2, 2008. Survivors include sons; Larry (Christine) Jordan, Topeka, Randy (Margaret) Jordan, Cork, Ireland, Rick (Suzanne) Jordan, Topeka; three grandchildren, David, Brian and Jennifer; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Linn Morrow, Topeka. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Morrow
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2008 at Crestview United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Delphos Cemetery in Delphos. Juanita will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd after 2:00 p.m. today.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crestview United Methodist Church, 2245 SW Eveningside Drive, Topeka, Kansas 66614.
