Jubar Dean Jones, 31, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Oak Grove, MO.
He was born October 15, 1981 in Dodge City, KS, the son of Melvin E. Jones, Jr. and Phyllis Stubblefield Moore. Jubar is survived by his two children, Jukobe and Jaxon Jones, his mother and step-father, Phyllis and Benny Moore, his grandfather, Thomas Nickerson, his siblings, Brandé, Justin (Toni), Jermee (Mia), Jamie and Jessica and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jubar was preceded in death by his father, Melvin E Jones, Jr. maternal grandparents, TJ & Betty (Shephard) Stubblefield and his paternal grandmother, Ina Jean Nickerson.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1201 Southwest Buchanan Street, Topeka, Kansas, 66604. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
