June M. Jones, 75, Harveyville, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
June was born April 25, 1942 in St. Paul, KS, the daughter of Edd and Minnie (Holding) Ward. She graduated from St. Paul High School.
She was a Massage Therapist and instructor. She started the Kansas Massage Institute. She also co-founded the Kansas Association of Therapeutic Massage and Body Works.
She was a member of the Harveyville United Methodist Church.
She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
June married Thomas Jones on July 8, 1961 in St. Paul, KS. He survives. Other survivors include their children, Sherri Marney, Auburn, Dale Jones, Topeka, Dean (Rhonda) Jones, Harveyville, Cindy Jones, Topeka; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Harveyville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Auburn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2017.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Harveyville United Methodist Church, 371 Wabaunsee Avenue, Harveyville, KS 66431.
