K. Ralph Sales

K. Ralph Sales, 91, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020. He was born March 18, 1929 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Vance H. and Marie (Burch) Sales.
Ralph graduated from Roxbury High School near McPherson. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean War. Ralph was employed by KPL for over 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed all sports including golf and bowling.
Ralph was a great dad and a best friend to everyone. He had the kindest heart and never met a stranger. He will be sorely missed.
Survivors include children, Elizabeth Jonson of Banner, Wyoming, Cathleen Oden of Greeley, Kansas, thirteen grandchildren and his siblings, Harold "Bud" Sales of Moundridge, Kansas, Carolyn Herren of McPherson, Kansas and his life partner, Colleen Belt of Topeka.
Ralph was preceded in death by his two sisters, one brother and his son-in-law, Jim Eckert.
Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place in Valley View Cemetery in Roxbury, Kansas at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donor's choice.
