Mrs. Passow graduated from Hoisington High School in 1957. She attended Colorado Women's College and graduated in 1959, earning an Associate of Arts degree. She married Richard E. Passow on February 25, 1962 in Hoisington, Kansas. They lived in Emporia for three years before moving to Topeka. Mrs.
Passow enjoyed painting, working as a sales clerk for Two Hearts gift shop and being a home maker. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
